Rosemary is made by Bosco Labs LLC. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the Rosemary app or getrosemary.app. We've kept them as plain as we can.
Rosemary helps your household keep a running picture of what you have, what you're running low on, and what to buy — shopping lists, a household inventory, reminders, and AI-assisted features like photo recognition and recipe reading. We're always improving it, which means features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
You need an account to use Rosemary, and you're responsible for what happens under it. A household is shared: people you invite with your join code can see and, depending on their role, edit your household's lists and inventory. Treat your join codes like house keys — only share them with people you want inside. If you invite children to your household, you're responsible for their use of the app and you confirm you're their parent or legal guardian.
Don't misuse Rosemary. That includes: attempting to access other households' data, probing or overloading our systems, scripting or automating calls to our backend outside the app, reselling access, or using the service to store unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do these things — they raise costs and risks for every other family using Rosemary.
Your lists, photos, recipes, and household data are yours. You give us the limited license needed to store and process them so the app can work — including sending photos and text you submit to our AI provider to generate results for you. We don't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Rosemary's suggestions are generated with the help of AI, working from what she knows about your household. They can be wrong. In particular:
The Rosemary app, name, design, and underlying software belong to Bosco Labs LLC. These terms don't transfer any of that to you — they give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your household while your account is active.
You can stop using Rosemary and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice.
Rosemary is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be either. To the fullest extent the law allows, Bosco Labs LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
If we make material changes, we'll post the updated terms here and update the effective date, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Rosemary after changes take effect means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Rosemary is currently offered in the United States and Canada.
